Penalties & Claims

Claims

1. Claim amount is $1,500.
2. Claim must be made by the end of the 50th lap.
3. A claim may only be made by an active race team member.
4. Claim is cash in hand to the Safety Coordinator.
5. The claimee will be advised of a claim, but not who made it.
6. First claim is the claim.
7. Teams can deny a claim, but the car is banned for life. The team can continue to participate.
8. The Claim Board will decide on any discrepancies.

Important

If you deny a claim, the car is done for good. The team itself can still race other cars.
